Privacy Checklist

The Privacy Checklist is geared to the Privacy Rule Only and provides an assessment of where the employer sponsored health plan or business associate currently stands when it comes to unlocking the answers to the privacy rule.  Upon completing the checklist, recommendations are made  and Medcom Benefit Solutions has the solution key.  This tool is useful in the following scenarios:

• Employers with fully-Insured group health plans (medical/dental or vision) where the plan administer receives more than summary information ( enrollment/disenrollment and aggregate data);
• Employers with a fully-Insured group medical plan and a separate self-funded flexible spending account (FSA) or Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA);
• Employers with self-funded health plans;
• Employers who are considering moving from fully-insured to self-funded;
• Insurance Brokers.
